The Sword of the Phoenix appeared in the Dutch X-Men comic #303 ("Opkomst en ondergang van het Shi'ar-Rijk"; originally "Uncanny X-Men" #479 "Rise and fall of the Shi'ar Empire").
I made this simple model in one of those lost moments, but I liked the result so I posted it on my papercraft webpage. ;o)
I changed it a little bit from the comic, giving it a perfectly square blade to make it look even more like an unsophisticated "heavy duty chopping device"... ;o)
